We value the Bible

The Bible is Truth

we can count on.

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

It is Inspired by God. It is our authority and guide for all we do

The Holy Spirit enlightens us to the truth as we

--gather together to study the Word

--individually search the Scriptures daily

--hide God's Word in our hearts.

Ask - What does the Bible say about it?

We value Life in Christ

Life is all about Christ our Lord and our God.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

"Christ...is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning the first born from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent." Colossians 1:18

"If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8:11

The Holy Spirit enhances our lives as we

--worship Christ in spirit and in truth

--obey Christ as Lord and serve Him with gladness

--prepare to give account to Christ in Heaven.

Ask - What will please Jesus?

We value the Gospel

The Gospel changes everything about us.

God created us in His image. We were made to experience a personal relationship with Him. Yet, our sin separated us from Him. God promised to solve our sin problem and He did so in the person and work of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The Gospel is God's answer to our sin problem. Jesus died in our place, was buried, and rose again to conquer the death penalty of our sin and to offer for us His righteousness for life as a free gift. Believing the gospel of Jesus Christ changes us from death to life. Jesus says, "He that believes in me has everlasting life."

The Holy Spirit empowers us

--to know the Gospel.

"When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the Gospel." Ephesians 3:4-6

--to be transformed by the Gospel.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2

--and to share the Gospel.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8

Ask: How can I experience the Gospel?

We value God's love

The love of God motivates us

"And He said to him, You shall love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." John 14:15-17

The Holy Spirit enables us

--to experience God's love and

--to demonstrate God's love to others.

"By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35

Ask - How can I show God's love?
